Split Window Buses

1965 Volkswagen 21 Window Deluxe Microbus
Here is a Volkswagen 21 Window Deluxe Microbus that we found in the state of Washington and completed a high end turnkey restoration.

1963 Volkswagen 15 Window Walk-Thru Deluxe Microbus
1963 Volkswagen 15 Window Walk-thru Deluxe Microbus. This Bus has a great story…there was a lead given to us that there was a Bus sitting in a backyard in Washington. Not wanting to miss out on getting another Bus we got to work. Two of our friends were close by in a neighboring city and were kind enough to go down and check it out.

1961 VW 23 Window Deluxe Microbus “American Pickers”
This Bus is a special one because of the fact that it was featured on the TV show “American Pickers” in the June 25th 2012 “Love Em and Leave Em” episode. We had already started to strip it down and perform the metal work when a good customer of ours just had to have it. We will be starting up on the project once again.

1961 VW Panel Camper Conversion
This Bus found a great customer who loves it just the way it is and he asked us to do the metal restoration which we had already started. With our client wanting to keep the Bus in a patina style we decided to sandblast the underside, engine, cargo and front floor areas, as well as about 14 inches up the Bus. Then we could see where all the rust was and could order the replacement metal. Once we are done with the metal repair, we will then match the paint from the top half of the Bus to the bottom. This is going to be a fun build, we can’t wait to see it finished.

1964 Volkswagen Westfalia Subhatch Camper
We did not have to go far for this Bus as it was right in our back yard. We purchased it from a couple that traveled around the US in it and from the looks of the Bus they had a great time. As always the Bus had a good amount of rust so we decided to get it blasted to see where the rust was hiding. Once we did that we got to work to get the rust out and the new metal in. After completing the rust repair the Bus sat until it was purchased by a gentleman overseas who plans to do the body work and paint once he receives the it.

1964 Volkswagen 13 Window Deluxe Microbus
Great client of ours had this 1965 13 Window Deluxe with nose damage and rust problems. We tackled the rust and nose damage then did the bodywork and paint for him. He wanted to assemble the Bus so we sent it off to him to finish it up. Hope to see the finished bus driving on the road soon.
Bay Window Buses

1971 Volkswagen Bay Window Deluxe Red Bus
Here is a local Bus that we found and thought was a really solid Bus. The plan was to block sand it out and lay down a new paint job. After sanding the Bus down we found a lot of rust that we had to take care of…it quickly turned into a complete restoration.
